This year for christmas we went to California again but this time we got to fly, finally. Flying wasn't as great as I though it would be but it was still better than driving. Our flight was delayed so Rachel was ready for a nap before we even got on the plane and worst of all the airline lost our car seat! luckily they have a loaner for just such a problem. Once we got to my parents house everything was fine. We had a great time and Rachel got TONS of attention. We especially enjoyed the nice weather. it snowed in Utah most of the time we were gone so we were glad to get away.
It was fun to watch Rachel open her gifts but of course she was more interested in the paper than the toy. Will got Guitar Hero for the Wii and some gift cards. I got a sewing machine and the "magic bullet". I think my family is trying to domesticate me, haha. just kidding, I am excited to learn how to sew.
We had the opportunity to do a session at the Oakland Temple with my parents which was nice, we haven't been to that temple since our wedding.
