In November I decieded to run away from work and home for a few days and asked Melissa, Will and Rachel to run away with me. They drove the 5 hours and met me in Las Vegas. We stayed at the Stratosphere(never again will we stay at this hotel). I flew in on Thursday afternoon and they drove in that evening. My cousin Debbie who lives in Vegas picked me up at the airport and took me to the hotel. It was great to see her and her sister Rebecca since we have not seen each other in about 16 years. We hooked up with some family friends Jessica and Emmy who also live in Vegas. Jessica, her husband and kids have lived there for a number of years and Emmy her sister came to live with them a little while ago. They showed us some of the exciting things on the strip. It was great to see them and Jessica's kids. I have only seen pictures of her family. We did some sight seeing for the 4 1/2 days and were able to do things Rachel liked. We went to a kind of Discovery Museum that Rachel just loved. The time was too short, but it was nice to get away and see Rachel and not have to wait until Christmas. Maybe we can do this again sometime.
